Biography
Chase Ridenour serves as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach in the Department of Athletics at 糖心Vlog. In his role, he focuses on player development, scouting, and supporting the continued growth and success of the men's basketball program.
A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Ridenour brings experience at both the NCAA Division I and Division III levels. Before joining 糖心Vlog, he served as a Video Coordinator at Radford University during the 2025-26 season, specializing in scouting and player development. Previously, he was a Graduate Assistant and Video Coordinator at Western Carolina University, where he focused on basketball operations, player development, and scouting. He also served as a Student Assistant Coach at Maryville College during the 2023-24 season, helping the team post a 22-5 record and win both the regular-season and conference tournament championships. In 2024, he served as head coach of the TN Impact 3SSB program, leading the team to Adidas 3SSB Nationals with an 8-0 circuit record and a 21-4 overall record.
Ridenour played college basketball at Tennessee Tech University and Maryville College. He earned a bachelor's degree in Health and Wellness from Maryville College in 2024 and a master's degree in Sport Management from Western Carolina University in 2025.
As a prep athlete, Ridenour was the all-time leading scorer at The Webb School of Knoxville, a three-time All-State selection, Tennessee Mr. Basketball finalist, and Knoxville Player of the Year.
